In brief
The 2026 edition of Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai drew global buyers to evaluate new production lines and major equipment investments, according to Vice President Mark Napier of inD. The event underscored how advanced technologies can raise productivity, reduce costs, and reinforce the integrated supply chain needed for food security. The show will move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre in 2027.
Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 – the 12th edition of the food‑production trade show – concluded on 7 November 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), drawing a wide range of global buyers and decision‑makers eager to assess new production lines and major equipment investments.
The exhibition formed part of a cluster of four co‑located events, alongside GulfHost, ISM Middle East and Private Label Middle East, bringing together the entire food production, retail and hospitality value chain from ingredients and processing to packaging, automation and foodservice equipment.
Mark Napier, Vice President of inD, said: “Gulfood Manufacturing 2026 has demonstrated the continued strength of the global food manufacturing industry, with exceptional international attendance and an outstanding calibre of buyers.”
Napier added that the level of serious commercial engagement on the show floor was particularly encouraging, with decision‑makers exploring new production lines, evaluating major equipment investments and progressing real business opportunities. He noted that strong international participation reflected Dubai’s resilience and its ability to support global business amid economic and geopolitical uncertainty, emphasizing that food security depends on reliable production, processing and transportation, as well as an integrated network of factories, equipment, ingredients and logistics services.
The exhibition showcased a broad array of technologies and solutions aimed at improving productivity, maintaining product quality, optimising resource consumption and reducing operating costs. These innovations are positioned to help manufacturers strengthen efficiency and operational resilience, allowing them to adapt to changing market demands and develop more efficient, future‑ready facilities.
Demonstrations included advanced automation rigs, sensor‑driven quality control systems, and energy‑efficient processing lines, each designed to optimise resource consumption and enhance product traceability across the food value chain.
Gulfood Manufacturing will move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai for its next edition, scheduled for 1‑3 November 2027.
Overall, the 2026 edition underscored how integrated approaches and advanced technologies can address evolving manufacturing priorities and ultimately strengthen food security across the region and beyond.
