Kit Harington Joins HBO’s Harry Potter Series as Gilderoy Lockhart

The casting shift comes after Nicholas Hoult was originally slated to portray the character but was forced to exit the project due to conflicting work schedules. Harington’s return to the series marks his third collaboration with HBO, following Game of Thrones and the 2024 drama *Industry*.
