Three people, including two children, died in Gaza City amid an alleged Israeli raid, according to Palestinian medics.

Palestinian medics report that Israeli fire in western Gaza City killed two children and a woman during a raid claimed to be executed by an Israel‑backed militia, followed by Israeli shelling and air strikes. A separate incident in central Gaza also resulted in a child’s death. Defence Minister Israel Katz announced the arrest of a senior Hamas official, though the connection to the Gaza event is unclear. Israeli forces responded with drone strikes to neutralise the suspected hostile unit, noting none of their troops were injured.
