Pop star Ariana Grande has filed a lawsuit against two anonymous hackers who stole and leaked unreleased songs, studio footage and other intimate material from her collaborators’ computers.

She alleges the intruders targeted photographers, producers and digital technicians over a span of years. The singer is seeking damages for invasion of privacy, hacking violations and conversion, and wants the pirates’ identities revealed. The case comes amid the release of her new album “Petal” and her world‑tour schedule. Grande has previously warned that the leak could damage her relationship with fans.

Ariana Grande has taken legal action in Los Angeles, suing two anonymous hackers who allegedly stole and leaked her unreleased music, studio footage and other sensitive material from her collaborators’ computers.

The singer’s lawyers say the hackers targeted photographers, producers and digital technicians in an attempt to acquire material that ended up being sold for significant sums on the dark web.

Documents filed with the court allege that in 2023 alone 45 of Grande’s unreleased songs were hacked, stolen and posted online; since her debut in 2011 hundreds more have been leaked.

Grandé is seeking damages for invasion of privacy, violation of California’s computer hacking laws, and conversion, and wants the identities of the hackers made public.

The lawsuit arrives just weeks before the release of her eighth studio album “Petal,” as Grande continues a world‑tour that will land in the UK this August.

After a brief break to film a two‑part adaptation of Wicked, the pop star has hinted that the upcoming tour will be a “last hurrah” for a long time, according to her remarks on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast.
