About 200 residents gathered to demand transparency on the government’s response after 183 homes were lost. The residents’ group accused the PM of sidestepping them, while his office insisted the fire operations are fully transparent.
Lecornu announced a €12 million aid package, allocating €10 million to Gironde and €2 million to Landes, to fund swift recovery projects and expedite building permits within a month.
